church (Norway), depicting scenes from The Legend Of Sigurd (Siegfried) from the Edda
(collection of Norse mythological poems). Left panel shows Dwarf Regin the smith
(Sigurd’s foster father) forging a sword. Right panel shows Sigurd killing the dragon Fafnir.
