Artisans: Jeweler (stage four)
Using a combination of Faber-Castell Polychromos, Berol Verithin, and regular Prismacolor colored pencils, I began applying the basic shading. Below is a series of step-by-step shots of the shading done on a section of hair:
For the purpose of this tutorial, I applied some ink lines at this stage, but normally I wait until the drawing is almost completed to do that. Same goes for highlights.
