Candlelight Memento (stage five)
Once the initial layer was dry, I started working on separate details, in this case the landscape and the fairies, adding more of the colors described on the previous page. I also added a very light wash of cadmium yellow to the sky to bring some warm color into it.
Often I keep adding glazes all over until I achieve the desired colors, but sometimes I start working on a part and get so carried away that I don't leave it alone until that part is (almost) finished. Here I worked more on the flowers and the landscape before moving on other details.
