The Pact Of Zeranon is an e-novel written by D. Edward Bowen, which I began illustrating in July 2001. The project immediately captured and held my interest - at first because the story is set in the world of the popular online RPG Everquest, to which yours truly used to be addicted. ;) But as I delved deeper into the story, I found the novel to be of exceptional quality, in all respects. It is beautifully written and masterfully plotted, and features a cast of truly interesting, memorable characters, adventures and themes. This is a work many seasoned fantasy writers should take pointers from, and I feel priviledged to have illustrated it.
The story follows the adventures of two unlikely companions, a Dark Elf Shadowknight and a Wood Elf Druid, forced into becoming allies by extraordinary circumstance.
