Mixed media is currently my favorite method of creating color work. You can achieve a great painterly feeling without the long timeframe of oil painting, or the unforgiving nature of watercolor.
When it comes to mixing together different mediums, there is a lot of room to play around to achieve the look you want for your work. This is just one of the many ways these mediums can be used.
